畝本直美
現在日本ではNHK朝のテレビ小説「虎に翼」が大人気である。日本初の女性弁護士、また日本初の女性判事である主人公が、女性、弱い者、虐げられた者の立場に立ち、奮闘するドラマである。
さて、７月１日に、女性検事正である畝本直美が昇進して、検察トップの検事総長になったというニュースが流れた。まあ、これも「虎に翼」の脈絡で理解できるかと思ったが、寝る前ユーチューブを見て驚いた。
彼女は、今日本中を騒がしている自民党裏金議員問題において、「安倍派５人衆」たちを不起訴にした張本人だったのだ。彼女の昇進は、彼らの身内である内閣閣僚が「閣議決定」で決めたというのだから、これは論功行賞であり、あからさまな司法に対する行政の介入である。彼女も、泥棒の仲間入りを果たしたわけだ。
いみじくも、「虎に翼」では、初期に政治権力に癒着する検察の姿が描かれていた。この薄汚れた畝本直美＝検事総長の誕生を予言していたと言えなくもない。女性だからと言って、信用できるとは限らない。畝本のような最低の奴もいる。ちなみに畝本の夫も元検察官で、妻同様の自民党贔屓をしている。
